Titan: Hyperion by TGping Titan: Hyperion by TGping

Here's a closer look at some previously unrelease stuff, the titan Hyperion, he takes the form of a feathered raptor akin to Utahraptor.

He's about due for a revamp, however I quite like the way he's held up since he was first created.

Check out his brethren here:

And his opposition here:

Whoo go Titanomachy

It's been a while since I've really looked at this design in the Titanomachy books, and now with my more robust knowledge of dinosaurs, I noticed a handful of inaccuracies in the dinosaur mode. It's still probably my favourite Titanomachy design, aside from maybe Party-Hat Spinosaurus. =V

Oh yeah, I think my knowledge of dino anatomy has also expanded greatly, I'm thinking in the actual comic though, these guys aren't going to be referenced by real world dinosaur names, that way I can get a little more artistic freedom, for example, surth's ceratopsian frill is much larger and pointier than evidence really suggests so far.

Yeah, I noticed that you made them kinda vague, which works out pretty nicely, especially with your Utahraptor-alike species, given Utahraptor just got some new material revealing some interesting features. The paper itself hasn't come out yet but I've seen art based on it that's been officially approved by the paper writer: ewilloughby.tumblr.com/post/80…

Er, anyways, paleo nerd-out aside, yeah, wise decision on staying unspecific with the species names. =)
